Saving a Documaker Document
After updating a Documaker document, it is important to save it to ensure you do not lose your work.
To save a Documaker document
You save a Documaker document using the same method as saving a Word document.
When saving the Documaker document, select one of the following formats:
- .docx – the standard Word document type (this type is selected by default)
- .docm – a Word document with macros
For consistency, give this document the same name as the Documaker Name in the Document Properties, General tab.
| Important | Do not save a Documaker document with the .doc, .dotx, or .dotm format because the Add-In does not support them. |
